Bageshwar is a town in the Uttarakhand state of India. It is located at the confluence of three rivers Saryu, Gomati, and latent Bhagirathi. The distance between Bageshwar to Almora is 73 km by road. Jageshwar has a cluster of more than 125 stone temples of different sizes dedicated to Lord Shiva in a single complex in the world. It has acquired the popular name of “Valley of Gods”. 5. Anasakti Ashram

Anasakti Ashram is also known as Mahatma Gandhi Ashram located in Kausani, Bageshwar district of Uttarakhand state. Mahatma Gandhi stayed here for 2 weeks in 1929. The ashram is well maintained with a prayer room, a small museum, and a picturesque setting. The time of the ashram is from 05.00 am to 07.00 pm. You can stay in the Anasakti ashram. You can book the rooms for your stay on the site of Anasakti Ashram or you can go directly to the ashram. Tourist will find their mental peace.

6. Binsar

Binsar is a remote village located near Almora located in the lap of the mighty region of Kumaon Region of Himalaya. Binsar is famous for its bird wildlife sanctuary tour and nature watching. The sanctuary is spread over 46 km square. Binsar has a dense forest. Between the forest, there are many hotels and resorts. Living in the forest resort is a lifetime memorable experience. Kausani is a hill station located in Bageshwar district of Uttarakhand state of India. The distance between Almora to Kausani is 46 km by road. Kausani is famous for its scenic splendor and the spectacular 300 km wide panoramic view of the Himalayan peaks of Trishl, Nanda Devi, and Panchchuli. Kausani is also called the Switzerland of India. 8. Dol Ashram

Dol Ashram is an ashram located in Kanra village at a distance of 40 km from Almora. The ashram is built for yoga and meditation purposes. It is also known as Shri Kalyanika Himalaya Devastanam. This place is surrounded by dense forest and has a tranquil and serene atmosphere. The ashram offers fully furnished single and double-bedded rooms. Also, it has an in-house mess with a capacity of  120 persons in the Ashram.

Gopeshwar is the largest town in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand state of India situated at an altitude of 1550 meters. The distance between Almora and Gopeshwar is approximately 200 km. This town has lofty and majestic mountain ranges, boasting scenic terrace farms, and small waterbodies. It is one of the serene undiscovered tourist destinations in Uttarakhand.
