It has extraordinary architecture and marvelous marble stone carvings. The temple was built between the 11th and 16th centuries. It is also called the Delwada Temple. These temples are dedicated to Lord Krishna and Laxmi Narayan.

Toad Rock

Toad Rock is a rock structure that resembles a frog-like shape leaping from the hill and jumping to the water.  This type of structure was formed due to the continuous weathering rock turning into the shape of a Toad. This place has a pleasant atmosphere and best place for trekking and rock climbing with the spectacular view of the lake and hills. Honeymoon Point

Honeymoon Point is a scenic spot in Rajasthan. This point offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding area. This point is visited by locals as well as honeymoon seekers. The honeymoon point in Mount Abu is situated at an altitude of 400 feet. The atmosphere looks like a sky painted with red and yellow colors. To watch this amazing view person, gather here. Nakki Lake

Nakki Lake is a lake located in the Aravalli Range of Mount Abu, Rajasthan state of India. It is the first manmade lake in India with a depth of around 114 feet. The lake has clean blue water with verdant surroundings which give you a romantic feel.  It is considered a very ancient sacred lake in Mount Abu. It is situated at a height of 11000 meters from sea level. Nakki Lake is a popular tourist attraction in Mount Abu. The lake is filled with rainwater every year. Trevor’s Tank

Trevor’s Tank is the best place for photography and a picnic spot in Mount Abu. The distance of Trevor’s Tank from Mount Abu is 5 km. It is a reservoir in a secluded jungle popular for crocodiles, bird watching, and other wildlife sightseeing. Trevor’s Tank required an entry fee of INR 50 for Indians and INR 100 per person for foreigners. Crocodile breeding is done here. It is also called crocodile park. This place is a popular tourist spot and a nature lover’s paradise. The time of the park is from 9.000 am to 5.00 pm. There is a trek from Nakki lake circle to Trevor’s Tank. Achalgarh Fort

Achalgarh Fort is a fort located 11 km from Mount Abu. The ancient fort was built by the Paramara Dynasty ruler in 1452. It is one of the most visited forts in Mount Abu. The Shiva temple and Nandi inside the fort is a major attractions for tourists It is located in Achalgadh Village in the Sirohi district of Rajasthan. The time of the fort is 10. am to 4.30 pm. Now it is ruined as nobody is living there.

Guru Shikhar

Guru Shikhar is a mountain peak in Arbuda Mountain of the Sirohi district of Rajasthan. It is the highest point in Aravalli Hills and in Rajasthan also. It is located 15 km from Mount Abu at an elevation of 1722 meters from sea level. It is one of the top places for trekking in Rajasthan and among the most popular tourist place in Mount Abu. Guru Shikhar provides a breathtaking panoramic view of Mount Abu town and the green Aravalli range. You can reach the Guru Shikhar Peak by climbing 300 steps. The temple and large bell at the Shikhar is a pilgrimage places for devotees.

Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary

Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary is located in one of the oldest mountain ranges of India, The Aravalli range. There are many sightseeing points with exquisite views. It is spread over 288 square kilometers. The sanctuary housed birds, leopards, wild boar, sambar, langur, chinkara, and sloth bear. There is a jeep safari to see the different animals inside the sanctuary at the cost of INR 300 to 600. The timing of the Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary is from 9.00 am to 5.30 pm on all days.

Brahma Kumari Peace Park

Brahma Kumari Peace Park is a serene and lovely destination located on the Guru Shikhar Road in Mount Abu. This park is built and maintained by Brahma Kumari Foundation. The park has a garden with many species of plants and a natural environment where silence and recreation coexist. This is the perfect place to find serenity and peace. The distance of Brahma Kumari Peace Park is 8 km from Mount Abu. The time of the park is from 8.00 am to 7.00 pm on all days.

Dhrudhiya Waterfall

Dhrudhiya Waterfall in Mount Abu is one of the most rustic and amazing waterfalls. No one laments a trek to climb this waterfall to fall magnificently. It is located at MD 60, Deldar, Sirohi district of Rajasthan.  It is a great place for a one-day picnic. You can go up to the waterfall and enjoy the gush of water. November to February is considered to be the best time to visit Mount Abu. The summer season is from March to June. During these months the temperature varies between 31 to 36 degree Celsius and is warm to hot. The monsoon season is the rainfall season and temperature varies between 28 to 34 degree Celsius. It is not a good time to visit. 

How To Get To Mount Abu

Abu Road railway station is the nearest railway station to Mount Abu. It is located 28 km from the main city of Mount Abu. It lies between Delhi and Mumbai. This station is connected to the major railway stations in India.  Udaipur Airport is the nearest airport to Mount Abu. The distance between Udaipur and Mount Abu is 185 km. Mount Abu can be reached by road from Jaipur through well-maintained roads NH 76 and NH 79. It is easy to reach Mount Abu from the nearest states of Maharashtra and Delhi.
