  1. Malana Trek

Malana is a small village located at a height of 8701 feet in the Parvati valley. Malana is famous for “Malana Cream” a high-quality hash, a product made from the cannabis plants in the Parvati valley. It is an isolated, beautiful, and peaceful village.  The distance from Kasol to Malana is 23 km. The starting point of the trek is Grahan village. The distance from Graham to Malana is 7.5 km. The time required to reach Malana from Grahan village is one hour and 30 min by the normal speed of walking. The rule in Malana is that tourists cannot touch any person or thing in that village. The people in Malana are very good, cooperative, and polite.

2. Kheerganga Trek

Kheerganga trek in Parvati Valley from Kasol is famous in Himachal Pradesh.  Kheerganga is located at the extreme end of Parvati valley and is the last inhabited village at a height of 2950 meters.  The starting point of the trek is Barshaini village 17 km from Kasol. The distance between Barshaini to Kheerganga is 12 km. The time required to cover this distance is 3 to 4 hours depending on the walking speed of the person. At kheerganga tent, accommodation is available for stay in the night which provides high tea and dinner. The temperature in the winter season reaches minus Degrees Celsius and is not the best time to visit Kheerganga. The best time to visit Kheerganga is from May to November when the temperature is pleasant and ranges between 15 to 30 Degree Celsius.

3. Tosh Trek

Tosh is a beautiful village located in Tosh valley of Himachal Pradesh. Tosh is famous for its hippie culture. Tosh to Kheerganga trek is the first preference of solo as well as group travelers. Tosh is located at a height of 2400 km in Parvati valley. The distance between Kasol to Tosh is 20 km. The trek starting point is Barshaini. The distance between Barshaini to Tosh is 4 to 5 km. The time required to reach Tosh from    Barshaini village is 15 to 20 min. It is one of the simple and easy treks in the Himalayas. The best time to visit Tosh is from May to November. During this month the temperature ranges between 10 to 20 Degree Celsius.

Some tourist prefers Tosh to the Kheerganga trek. The distance between Tosh to Kheerganga trek is 7. 5 km.  The time required to cover this distance is 40 min. this is one of the most beautiful treks in the Himalayas.

5. Chalal Trek Trail 

Chalal is a small village near Kasol. There are majestic mountains, chirping birds sound, and flowing rivers. Chalal trek is one of the long-distance treks. The route of the Chalal trek is from Kasol to Chalal and onward to Tosh and then Kasol. To complete this trek time requires 3 days and 2 nights. The Parvati river is along the trekking side. Parvati Valley is located in the northern state of Himachal Pradesh of India. Parvati valley starts from Bhuntar in the Kullu district. Parvati valley is famous for its hippie culture, glorious mountains, green pine trees, and the Parvati river in Kasol. The high-quality hash is grown in that area. 11. Rasol Trek

Rasol is a charming village with mountains and mesmerizing views. It is located in the Parvati valley. Rasol trek start from Chalal. The distance between Kasol to Rasol is 5 km and the time required to reach is 3 to 4 hours. The trek is a very steep climb and requires patience and endurance. Hiking to the village Rasol is the only to reach Kasol due to the lack of road facilities. Rasol is situated at an altitude of 3048 meters from sea level.  The Rasol trek difficulty is moderate.

12. Pulga Trek

Pulga is a high-altitude meadow surrounded by pine forests on all sides. Pulga is famous for apple orchard fruit. Being a remote village Pulga remains largely untouched by the tourist most of the time. Pulga offers a majestic view of the snowcapped mountains of Parvati valley. It is a difficult trek of 13 km uphill from Barshaini and the time requires is three-hour to reach. To reach the Barshaini you have to cross the Manikaran and Kheerganga. Recently Pulga village becomes the hub for backpackers. The other two beautiful must-visit villages near Pulga are kalga and Tulga.

The best time to visit Kasol is from March to June. The Temperature of the day is warm during these months. The valley during these months is beautiful and serene. July to September is shoulder season. Many visitors visit during shoulder season.

How To Reach Kasol

Kasol has no airport or railway station. The nearest airport to Kasol is Bhunter. The distance between Bhunter to Kasol is 30 km. The cheapest way to reach Kasol from Delhi is the bus to Kullu, then a taxi or cab to Kasol. There is not any train to Kasol.

Weather In Kasol

The average temperature of Kasol is 13.7 degrees Celcius. July is the hottest month and January is the coldest month in Kasol. The temperature in January drops to – 5 degrees Celcius. The winter season is the snowfall time in Kasol. July and August have maximum rain.
