12 best places to visit in India are Andaman and Nicobar island, Goa, Sikkim, Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Dadar and Nagar Haveli, Pudducherry, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, and Rajasthan.

Andaman and Nicobar Island

Andaman and Nicobar is a union territory of India. It consists of nearly 836 beaches. Out of these only a few beached are allowed to visit. Port Blair is the capital city of Andaman and Nicobar Island and has a lot of hotels. To visit Nicobar Island, special permissions have to be obtained. Andaman and Nicobar are famous for white sand beaches, rich coral reef, water sport activities like diving and snorkeling. In Andaman and Nicobar Island there are many beaches, actually, it is a land of beaches. Some of the most famous beaches are Radhanagar Beach, Neil beach, Ross Island, Jolly Buoy Beach, Baratang beach, Kalapather beach, Elephant beach and Bharatpur beach. Another main attraction in Port Blair is the National Memorial Cellular jail which tells the rich Indian history of Indian Freedom Fighter. The light and music show in the evening is the main attraction of the Cellular Jail.

Goa is the smallest state of India and located on the west coast of India. It is one of the most famous places for visitors for many reasons. The main reason is the golden sand beaches which attract tourists all around the year. Sikkim is a state in northeast India having a border with Bhutan, Tibet and Nepal and located in the Himalayan ranges. The majority of people in Sikkim follow the Buddhist religion. If you are in search of peace and humanity, then no other place than Sikkim is better. It has mesmerizing snow- capped mountains, natural beauty, flowers, waterfalls and monasteries. Gantok is the state capital of Sikkim. Kerala is a state on India’s tropical Malbar coast and has the largest sea shore. It is also called “Gods own country”. This state is famous for beautiful beaches, back water, luxurious house boats, world famous Ayurvedic treatment and temples. It has famous national parks like Eravikulam and Periyar wild life sanctuary. Munnar is very famous hill station having tea gardens. Kerala is also famous for spices and sea food eating on the green banana leaf. Pilgrimage temples such as Padmanabhnabh temple and Guruvayur temple are located in Kerala. Kerala has modern cities like Trivandrum and Cochi. Ayurvedic treatment is very famous, and people all over the world are coming to Kerala to avail this treatment.

Karnataka is a state situated in the southwest of India having a coastline with the Arabian Sea. The capital of Karnataka is Bangalore and is famous for shopping and night life. Daman and Diu is the union territory of India and located on the west coast. The main attraction in Dadar and Nagar Haveli is the beaches. Some of the most famous beaches are Jampore beach, Ghoghla beach, Nagoa beach and Devka beach. Beside that Mirasol Lake garden is also an attraction for tourists. Puducherry is a union territory of India. It was French colonial in India till 1954. It is located in the southeast state of India. The main attraction in Pudicherry is heritage building, a cleaned road and a square at the right angle square. The most visited places in Puducherry are beaches. Some of the best beaches are Paradise beach, Rock beach and Auto beach.
